Avocado, kale & Basil Dip

Honestly, for me nothing can beat the pure, delicious and simple taste of homemade guacamole, made quickly with salt, pepper and lime/lemon juice, and mashed with a fork. Creamy perfection. 

That said, it's always good to try new things, and this dip is packed with nutrients and delicious flavours. 


  • 2 small or 1 large avocado
  • 2 large handfuls of kale
  • 1 handful of fresh basil
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • Full fat sour cream (can also use yoghurt, cream, ricotta, etc)
  • 1/2-1 fresh green chilli pepper, depending on your spice tolerance, plus a sprinkle of dried chilli flakes (I used jalapeno flakes)
  • Salt & pepper to taste


As my recipes so often do, this has only one step: blend!
